Protect and Serve Act of 2018

Protect and Serve Act of 2018 (Sec. 2) This bill amends the federal criminal code to make it a crime to knowingly assault a law enforcement officer causing serious bodily injury (or to attempt to do so) in circumstances that affect interstate commerce. It imposes criminal penalties—a prison term of up to 10 years, a fine, or both—on a violator.
