75th Anniversary of World War II Commemoration Act

This bill directs the Department of Defense (DOD) to conduct a program to commemorate the 75th anniversary of World War II. The program may include activities and ceremonies related to achieving the following: thanking and honoring World War II veterans; educating the public about World War II history, including the role of the federal government and nongovernmental organizations; recognizing the contributions made by the allies and those on the home front; and remembering the Holocaust and the liberation of the concentration camps. The Department of the Treasury shall establish a Department of Defense World War II Commemoration Fund, to be used to conduct the commemorative program and provide grants for commemorative activities.
