This act provides continuing FY2023 appropriations to federal agencies through December 30, 2022, and extends several expiring programs and authorities. DIVISION A--FURTHER ADDITIONAL CONTINUING APPROPRIATIONS ACT, 2023 Further Additional Continuing Appropriations Act, 2023 This division provides continuing FY2023 appropriations to federal agencies through the earlier of December 30, 2022, or the enactment of the applicable appropriations act. It is known as a continuing resolution (CR) and prevents a government shutdown that would otherwise occur if the FY2023 appropriations bills have not been enacted when the existing CR expires on December 23, 2022.
